Swallwell’s Campaign in Freefall: Sexual Assault Allegations Explode As Senior Staff Flee the Sinking Ship

California… buckle up.

What was supposed to be Eric Swalwell’s triumphant march to the governor’s mansion just turned into a nightmare straight out of a political thriller, and the walls are closing in fast.

For weeks the whispers had been swirling behind closed doors in Sacramento and Washington. Campaign insiders trading frantic texts. Staffers eyeing the exits. Then, just days before ballots start dropping, the bomb detonates. A brave former staffer, a young woman who trusted Rep. Eric Swalwell as her boss, has come forward with a devastating account that should make every single voter in this state sick to their stomach.

She says he pursued her. She says there were sexual encounters while she worked for him. And she says, twice, when she was blackout drunk and physically unable to consent, Eric Swalwell sexually assaulted her.

Let that sink in.

This wasn’t some random encounter. This was power at its most repulsive, a congressman, her direct superior, allegedly taking advantage of a young staffer who had every reason to believe he would protect her, not prey on her. One incident in a hotel room after drinks in 2019. Another in New York in 2024 after a gala where she blacked out again, waking up to him on top of her despite her saying no. Bruises. Bleeding. Trauma that she told friends about in real time.

This is the same Eric Swalwell who spent years loudly championing #MeToo, who stood on his soapbox and attacked Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser while pretending to be the great defender of women. The hypocrisy is grotesque.

And just like clockwork, as soon as the San Francisco Chronicle dropped the story, the campaign started hemorrhaging people. Multiple senior staffers — including Courtni Pugh, his top labor liaison, have abruptly resigned. At least four high-level departures in the hours before the report hit. The rats are jumping ship because they know what’s coming.

Swalwell’s response? The usual playbook we’ve seen from too many powerful men caught red-handed: deny everything, scream “coordinated attack,” “eve of the election,” “lies,” and, of course, fire off cease-and-desist letters trying to bully and silence victims and accusers. He even had the audacity to say he’s “always protected women.”

Give me a break.

This is the same guy who got caught up with suspected Chinese spy Christine Fang, a.k.a. Fang Fang. The same guy who’s spent years skating by on charm, connections, and Democratic machine protection while ordinary Californians pay the price. Now the mask is off.

Eric Swalwell and Chinese spy “Fang Fang”.

His campaign, which was supposedly gaining steam with big union endorsements and super PAC cash just weeks ago, is imploding in real time. Events canceled. Staff gone. Momentum evaporated. The once-confident frontrunner is now fighting for survival — and the truth is finally catching up to him.

Eric Swalwell, you don’t get to assault women who worked for you, try to silence them, and then run for governor of California like nothing happened. Not on our watch.

The women who have suffered deserve justice. The voters of this state deserve leaders who don’t treat their offices like personal hunting grounds. And California cannot afford one more disgraced, entitled Democrat pretending he’s fit to lead.

The house of cards is collapsing. The day of reckoning is here.

We the people are watching. And we will not be silenced.
