Storm Preparedness : Sandbags available at Zuma Beach Headquarters

Malibu residents prepare for the upcoming storm that could produce flooding with expected rain totals of 1-3″ on the coast and in the valleys, and 3-5″ in the foothills/mountains, expected to arrive Monday and lasting through Tuesday night.

Local totals could reach 6″.

Burlap sandbags are available at Zuma Beach Lifeguard Headquarters:

Plastic sandbags were banned in Malibu in 2017 thanks to the efforts of City Council member Jefferson Wagner
